How it works
What RemoveGen does — and does not do
RemoveGen removes the visible corner watermark from AI-generated media. It does not remove invisible provenance signals such as SynthID or Content Credentials (C2PA), which remain in the file. This is a cosmetic change — it does not alter what the content is or who owns it.
How to save your file
Always use the Save button on the result card. Do not long-press or right-click the preview to save — that saves the on-screen preview, not the cleaned full-resolution file.

Does RemoveGen work on AI images and videos?
Yes. RemoveGen is built for AI-generated media — both images and videos, landscape and portrait (Shorts). It removes the visible sparkle watermark that Google's AI tools — Gemini, Veo, Omni Flash in Google Flow, and Nano Banana — place on exported files. For best results, use the original downloaded file, not a re-shared or re-encoded copy.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs inside your browser — decoding, cleaning and saving all happen on your device. Nothing is uploaded, transmitted or stored anywhere else, and there is no account or sign-in.
Is it free?
Yes, RemoveGen is free to use. The service is supported by a short advertisement shown when you save a file.
Is the quality reduced?
No. RemoveGen rebuilds the watermark area from the original pixels and writes the output without re-compressing the rest of your media — the result keeps the original resolution and quality.
Why did my file fail to process?
The most common reason is a re-encoded or re-shared copy of the file. Download the original export directly from the AI app and try again. Also note that videos are currently limited to 12 seconds.
Is RemoveGen affiliated with Google?
No. RemoveGen is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google or any other AI provider. All product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
